Privacy Policy — PDF Collage for Gemini
The short version
The extension processes your conversations entirely locally in your browser. We never see them. The only data we ever store on our side is what's strictly needed to deliver and enforce Pro licenses: the email address you use at checkout and the license key we issue you.
What the extension does
PDF Collage for Gemini lets you select answers from your Gemini (gemini.google.com) conversations and export them into a single PDF document. All reading, assembling, previewing, and PDF generation happen entirely on your device.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect or transmit your Gemini conversations or any selected content.
- We do not collect browsing history or usage analytics.
- We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics of any kind.
Local storage (in your browser)
- Export handoff: when you press "Export PDF", the content you selected is briefly written to the extension's local storage so the extension's own preview page can display it. It stays on your device.
- License status: after you activate a Pro license, a small record of your license status is saved in extension storage. If you have Chrome sync enabled, Chrome may sync this record across your own devices through your Google account — a browser feature outside our control or access.
Payments (Pro purchases)
Purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. When your payment completes, Stripe notifies our licensing server of the order and the email address you provided at checkout, so we can generate your license key and email it to you.
Licensing server (Pro users only)
To issue keys and prevent abuse, our licensing server stores: your checkout email address, your license key, its activation count, and the date of each activation. When you activate Pro, the extension sends your license key and a generic instance label to this server once, solely to validate the key against its activation limit. This is the only network request the extension ever makes, and it contains no conversation content.
We keep this data for as long as your license is valid, and we use it for nothing else — no marketing, no sharing, no selling. You can request a copy or deletion of your licensing data at any time by writing to the address below (note: deletion invalidates the license).
Permissions
- storage: see "Local storage" above.
- Access to gemini.google.com: required to display the selection controls on Gemini conversations and to read only the answers you explicitly select for export. The extension runs on no other website.
Children
The extension is a general-audience productivity tool and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the extension handles data, we will update this page and the extension's store listing before the change takes effect.
