Privacy Policy
What stays on your device
- Your settings: target frequency, engine, on/off state. Stored in Chrome's own sync storage, so they follow your Chrome profile.
- Measured tuning references, cached per video so a track is not analysed twice. These are numbers (for example 442.8 Hz) attached to a YouTube video ID, kept locally. They are never uploaded.
- Your trial start date and, if you buy Pro, your license key.
Audio analysis happens live in the Web Audio graph. No audio is recorded, buffered to disk, or sent anywhere.
What leaves your device, and only then
When you activate a Pro license, the extension sends to key.musicalseries.com:
- the license key you typed
- the product name (432hzertzer)
That is the entire payload. No browsing history, no video titles, no account details, no device fingerprint. Roughly every two weeks the extension re-checks that the key has not been refunded or revoked, sending the same two fields. If the server cannot be reached, your Pro features keep working.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and are never seen by this extension or by our server. We store your email address in order to send you your license key and to help you if you lose it. See Stripe's privacy policy.
What we never do
- No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting.
- No advertising, no third-party trackers, no data sold or shared.
- No remotely hosted code: everything that runs is in the package Chrome reviewed.
- No reading of your YouTube account, subscriptions, or watch history.
Deleting your data
Removing the extension deletes every local setting and cache. To have your email address and license record deleted from our server, write to support@musicalseries.com and it will be removed within 30 days. Note that deleting the record also permanently deactivates the license.
